Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting

Posted by OCVA / November 29, 2013

The Parade of Lights and lighting of the community tree begin this special, old fashioned season. The musical tree of dancing lights is set in the pocket park at the west end of the Carousel Mall. The Parade begins on Necanicum Drive at 1st Avenue and moves on to Broadway to the tree in the park. Lighted floats, family’s, pets and community groups are decked with festive lights and parade watchers join the end to gather around the tree and sing carols. Santa and Mrs. Santa talk with children. Hot cider, cocoa and cookies are served and Santa’s elf hands out gifts to children to close this joyful evening of Christmas by the sea.

The Parade Of Lights Is Held Annually On ThanksGiving Friday And Starts At 7pm
