Astoria Heritage Square Block Party

The City of Astoria invites all North Coast residents and visitors to become Honorary Astorians on Saturday, April 14 to celebrate the groundbreaking for Astoria Heritage Square Phase 1, the Garden of Surging Waves. The groundbreaking Block Party is free and open to the public. 

1 pm  Heritage Square Celebration event begins with newly renovated Astoria City Hall tours

1:30 pm  Short dedication/groundbreaking ceremony with Astoria’s Mayor “The Honorable Willis L. Van Dusen”,  State Senator Betsy Johnson, Heritage Square Designer Suenn Ho, Astoria City Council members, with other dignitaries

2:00 pm  Surprise!

2:15 pm  to 4:00 pm  Music with live band, dancing, eating, partying

1 pm to 4 pm  Tell your Astoria family story at Bank of Astoria

1 pm to 4 pm  A limited number of “Heritage Square Bricks” and other items will be offered for purchase.

4 pm on   Stroll downtown Astoria and be part of the “Second Saturday Art Walk” at galleries and spaces throughout the city.
