Were you in Lincoln County when the Yaquina Bay Bridge was built? Do you have memories of that era? If so, the Lincoln County Historical Society, in conjunction with the Committee to Celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Yaquina Bay Bridge, would like to talk to you on Thursday, August 11, 2011  at 11:00 am in the Carriage House next to the Burrows House Museum at 545 SW Ninth in Newport.

Dr. John Baker of Northwest Management will be facilitating while Dave Morgan of News Lincoln County will be taping the interviews, to be used at the main event of the Yaquina Bay Bridge Celebration, an old-time picnic at the bridge Sunday, October 2, 2011 The interviews will become part of the permanent collection of the Lincoln County Historical Society.
