Is it REALLY December?

I have always been fascinated by the spray that is caused by the east winds blowing over the top of the Pacific Ocean waves.  Most times of the year we have wind along the Oregon coast.  During the summer it comes from the north, winter time brings our weather from the south and still other times of the year we get what is called the “east wind”.  During the summer months these east winds bring us our warmest days and in the winter it brings us clear, crisp days. The other thing the east winds bring is what we refer to as “bridal spray”.  The east wind causes the wave to spray back over itself and in turn makes the spray look like a bridal veil blowing in the wind.  If you haven’t seen it it is well worth the trip to take a look.
